It’s hot, humid, and your regular makeup routine just isn’t cutting it. This season is all about enjoying the weather, and if you’re like me, you want a no-fuss makeup drill. I’ve polled my makeup artist colleagues and have tested a gazillion products myself, so trust me⎯these are winners to help you beat the humidity and sweat all summer long!

1. MAC Blot Powder $25 / 2. Make Up For Ever Face & Body Liquid Makeup $40 / 3. Black Opal Invisible Oil Blocking Pressed Powder $9 /  4. Revlon Colorstay Makeup for Combination/Oily or Normal/Dry Skin $13 / 5. Rimmel Stay Matte Powder $5

As an oily skinned girl, I like my foundation light in texture and low-maintenance, especially in hot or humid climates.

Make Up For Ever Face & Body Liquid Makeup is lightweight, gel-based foundation, so it's great for your body and face. Revlon Colorstay Makeup for Combination/Oily or Normal/Dry Skin covers every skin tone and skin type while providing long-lasting coverage and a gorgeous texture, making it great year-round but especially in the summer heat. Rimmel Stay Matte Powder gives an on-the-go mattifying effect. A blot powder like this one has little to no pigment and its main objective is to keep you from looking shiny without creating buildup.

1. Nars Bronzing Powder $38 / 2. Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush $26 / 3. CG Queen Collection Natural Hue Bronzer $8 / 4. NYC Color Wheel Mosaic Face Powder (Blush) $5 / 5. Maybelline Face Studio Master Glaze $8 / 6. Rimmel Natural Bronzer $5 / 7. Tarte Cheek Stain $30

For that sun-kissed glow without all the fuss, try a bronzer in place of a powder or blush. Nars Bronzing Powder is long-wearing and has a wide range of colors for all skin tones. Rimmel Natural Bronzer has a great selection of shades for lighter skin tones, while CG Queen Collection Natural Hue Bronzer is perfect for deep skin.

If you’re one who catches a summer tan easily, you may want to skip the bronzer and go straight to blush. I love a flushed cheek with a little mascara and lip gloss for a quick and easy summer look!

Tarte Cheek Stain comes in a push-up tube and is ideal for a light touch of dewy color on your cheeks, while the Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush is the best long-lasting powder blush. NYC Color Wheel Mosaic Face Powder (Blush) has a great selection of shades for all skin tones⎯and at $5, it won't break your budget either. Maybelline Face Studio Master Glaze is an easy-to-apply cream blush, great alone or over foundation.

1. Milani Infinite Liquid Eye Liner $7 / 2. Lancome Hypnose Waterproof Custom Volume Mascara $28 / 3. Make Up For Ever Aqua Cream Waterproof Cream Color $23 / 4. Maybelline Eye Studio Color Tattoo 24HR Cream Gel Shadow $5 / 5. Covergirl Lashblast 24 Hour Mascara $8 / 6. Stila Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner $20 / 7. Urban Decay 24/7 Pencil $20 / 8. NYX Slide On Pencil $8

For a long-lasting set of flirty, full lashes, give one of these mascaras a try. Covergirl Lashblast 24 Hour Mascara is my holy grail of mascara for my everyday life and when I am making someone up. It keeps your lashes curled and unbudging! Lancome Hypnose Waterproof Custom Volume Mascara comes with gorgeous volume and staying power.

Heading to an outdoor wedding? A little eyeshadow will help amp up your look. Maybelline Eye Studio Color Tattoo 24HR Cream Gel Shadow is my number-one stay-put cream eye shadow! Super easy to apply and blend with just your fingers, this comes in an amazing range of colors and will not crease all day. For budge-proof eyeshadow that lasts, even in the pool, try Make Up For Ever Aqua Cream Waterproof Cream Color.

When it comes to eyeliner, I want to make sure you’re covered in the smudge-proof liner department. The only raccoon eyes I want is from forgetting to take my sunglasses off at the beach!

Stila Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner comes in fifteen shades that you can party on the beach in or even take a dip in the water. These are perfect for winged liner or just a little burst of color on the upper lash line. Urban Decay 24/7 Pencil is ideal for outlining the upper or lower lash lines and is available in twelve fun colors. At $8, NYX Slide On Pencil is an amazing drugstore deal with nine colors to fit every mood. If you're looking for an affordable, super long-lasting liner, Milani Infinite Liquid Eyeliner is the one. Great for a colorful cat eye!

1. Sephora Collection Luster Matte Long Wear Lip Color $16 / 2. L’Oreal Infallible Le Rouge $8 / 3. Armour Beauty Lip Gloss $22 / 4. NYX Mega Shine Lipgloss $5

I don’t like the feeling of a heavy lip product, and I am the worst at touching it up on myself. I love these lip products for their longevity and their ultra low-maintenance wearability.

Sephora Collection Luster Matte Long Wear Lip Color is my new favorite product! It leaves your lips smooth, and once the color dries, no touch-ups are required. With one of the biggest color ranges I've seen in a long-wearing lipstick, L’Oreal Infallible Le Rougehas gorgeous texture and won't dry out your lips. NYX Mega Shine Lipgloss is budget-friendly while still delivering high performance. Armour Beauty Lip Gloss was created for rockstars to wear on stage, so it's long-wearing and comes in a fab color range.

1. Urban Decay All Nighter Makeup Setting Spray $30 / 2. Hourglass Veil Mineral Primer $52 / 3. Phillips' Milk of Magnesia $10

When your makeup is all done and you’re ready to walk out the door, set with Urban Decay All Nighter Makeup Setting Spray, and I promise you’ll notice a difference in how long your overall look lasts.

Hourglass Veil Mineral Primer makes any foundation waterproof. Hourglass products are a bit pricey but well worth it!

My final trick: If you have oily/combination or acne-prone skin, try a little Phillips' Milk of Magnesia on a cotton ball and use before or after moisturizing (see which way works best for you). Then apply your foundation and you will notice a considerable improvement in shine reduction and foundation longevity. Don’t worry if you see a little chalkiness left on your skin; just rub it in or cover it with foundation and you won’t even know it’s there.
