Total style crush! Who would've thought hot pink cut-offs and a large, knit sweater would pair so well?
Amsterdam based fashion house, Scotch and Soda, is not exactly new to the retail scene. What began as a menswear line in the 1980s, came back with a bang in 2001 with new ownership and a new womenswear line, Maison Scotch. This inspiring womenswear line now has over 50 store locations worldwide and it's easy to see why!
Maison Scotch's campaign for Spring/Summer 2013 has got us dreaming of a south-of-the-border adventure. The line features a clash of influences…but it works! There is a mix of bohemian surf style with fluro hues, Native American inspired Ikat knitted cardigans with Southwest fringe, and embroidered blazers with a tribal African influence. We love the unexpected colors and textures in classic shapes; a world traveler feel that's perfect for the transitional weather of spring and into the hot summer.
Our favorites from Maison Scotch's S/S 2013 look book.
As for denim, Maison Scotch has mastered the fabric with their most recent line, Amsterdams Blauw. We swooned over the the collection's campaign photos. You'll see what we mean...
A popped collar that's anything but preppy.
Tie-dye pants and a tie-dye shirt make for awesome outdoor concert wear.
Button up! Fastening the top button is a cute and quirky way to throw a spin on a well worn staple.
